In 2018, we want to expect some cutting-edge stuff and design in the technology, but we can also expect a brand new open-source operating system and it has its own associated web service to take on the likes of Google. We are facing some data privacy problems in modern mobile phones and computers. Android is currently most widely used OS in the world and it suffers from several data privacy issues. Let’s we start the discussion on actual our topic name is eelo.
What is eelo?
eelo is a new smartphone operating system based on open source environment. eelo is new technology is launched by Gael Duval, the creator of Mandrake Linux. Gael says The EELO is a totally non-profit project. The main aim of the project is to build an open source environment using the open source LineageOS. There will be no any Google software or services by default, Also, there will be no any software which has been shown to be data hungry.
It provides the normal mobile phone experience to every user and where users don’t have to care about data privacy concerns and enjoy getting the freedom to choose between services from other third-party developers. It will be going to provide a responsible alternative to users who are caring about their data-privacy: smartphone and mobile phone OS, and associated web-services. This project name calls “eelo”.
because eels are small fishes that can hide in the sea, that’s means symbolic of data privacy.
How do Google and Apple their own business?
We are billion of peoples are in the world and we store our private data on google, apple, and some other services. Approximately 90% peoples are using Android and Apple smartphone in the world. In Google Android Phones, having google search, google map, mail, google drive and so on. If you need something you should get it on google search engine. Also, you want applications then it takes from play store and install it on your mobile or even use an app that is using Google services, you are sending some information to them. Means Google takes our data and makes their business. also, it is same happened in Apple Business.
How ELLO work on Web Service?
Now today’s world is surrounded by the Internet. Everyone has a mobile phone and a mobile phone without internet services means would be a Man without Oxygen. Mobile and Internet is need of everyone in the world. Also, We need mails, we need online storage space, and also we need advance application. People would like to access their data from everywhere and anywhere on any device. These all are the part of web services. Don’t we know how data is pass and transfer? Or how data is processed and where it is stored etc. The overall structure is that we can’t imagine our data is secure or not?
But eelo provides the security on our web service data. It gives the privacy of data searching, cloud storage, and all recovery setting. It provides their own web services which are fully secured.
